A contemporary visual artist with a gallery‑inspired portfolio website showcasing her work and supporting her artist‑led space, Queen Street Studios.
The Brief:
Jayne approached me after a couple of frustrating years trying to get her website live, having previously worked with another designer and attempted a self-build.
She wanted a clean, minimal portfolio-style site that would allow galleries, curators, and people interested in her practice, to easily view her work, while also providing a dedicated space to showcase her new venture, Queen Street Studios - an artist-led, not-for-profit exhibition and studio space.
I developed a fully custom Squarespace website for Jayne, including a new logo, branding, and colour palette drawn from the aesthetic of her paintings. The site balances a modern, minimal feel with a gallery-like presentation, allowing her work to take centre stage.
